Just North East of Dallas, TX is a beautiful state park right on the lake that offers very spacious RV camping spots with tons of trees for shade and a nice sandy beach.
There are trails for biking and hiking, spots for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, a volleyball court, pavilion, playground, and much more!
We were particularly impressed with how much space there was between RV campsites. It was nice to not be right up on top of other campers and have a little privacy.
While it would have been nice to have septic hookups at the campsite, their shared dump station actually featured 2 septic and water hookups instead of just one.
